Malayasian Company interests in setting up of power project
Agartala, Jan 27 (UNI) A Malayasian company has shown interest in setting up a coal based thermal power project in Tripura and a four-member team is likely to arrive here on January 30.
According to official sources here today, the Maser Power Group (MPG) of Malayasia showed keen interest in setting up the coal-based thermal power project in the state and the team is likely to arrive here on January 30 for an on the spot study.
The MPG team is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Manik Sarkar the next day and discuss setting up of the power plant.
The team is expected to leave the state on February 1.
