Free to dissent but indisciplne will invite action : Mahesh Sharma
Jaipur, Jan 27(UNI) Newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Party state president Mahesh Sharma said dissent is not uncommon in politics but it should not cross the limit of party disciplne.
Talking to UNI, Mr Sharma said,''Dissent is part and parcel of democracy and but those who breach discipline in the party will not be tolerated''.
Talking about his strategy to strengthen the party in the state the BJP leader said he wanted to engergise the party through interaction and diologue with the party workers of their regarding problems and addressing their grievances.
Mr Sharma said he would soon constitute the state executive and the coordination committees to facilitate interaction between the functionaries of the government and the party.
Replying to a question of some discontentment in the party over his reappointment he said ''There is no dissatisfaction in the party over my appointent. Party leaders called me up and congratulated me. They exprssed their support to me and I will take their support''.
The announcement of the appointment of Dr Sharma was received here with muted sceptisism with six cabinet ministers of the anti-Chief minister faction in the party gave vent to their feeling by a unoffcial boycott of the cabinet meeting held in Kota on January 24 and the chief minsiter complaining to the the party high command.
