Gowda congratulates Mulayam on winning vote of confidence

Bangalore, Jan 26 (UNI) Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) National President H D Deve Gowda today congratulated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh for winning the vote of confidence in the state Assembly.

In a letter, released to the press here, he said that ''with your vast political experience and sagacity, you have vanquished the evil designs and the wiliness of the opponents who tried desperately to destabilise a popular government.'' ''I hope that the trust vote won by you will definitely strengthen you politically in the days to come,'' he added.
