Deve Gowda, Minister visit Rathasapthami festival

Tirumala, Jan 26: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda and Union Minister T Subbarami Reddy offered worship prayers Lord Venkateswara and also participated in Rathasapthami festival in Tirumala temple here today.

Earlier, Mr Gowda, who reached here last night, was received by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer APVN Sarma and Joint Executive Officer Balaramaiah in the temple and offered prasadam.

He also participated in the procession of Lord Malayappaswamy on Surya Prabha Vahanam with thousands of devotees. Late, Mr Gowda left for Bangalore.

Dr Subbarami Reddy and his wife T Indira Reddy, who is a member of the TTD, had also participated in the procession of Lord Malayappaswamy.
