Bavarian Companies receive overwhelming business enquires in IMTEX

Bangalore, Jan 26 (UNI) The Bavarian based companies, manufacturing high-quality Machine Tool has received overwhelming Business Enquires, including for Technical tie-up and Joint Venture from Indian Companies during the recently concluded IMTEX-2007, the Indian exhibition of cutting edge Machine tool industry.

Bavarian State of Germany's India representative John Kottayil told UNI here today that over 21 Bavarian companies, including small and medium machine tool industries, the largest ever contingent, participated at the IMTEX-2007 and in terms of business inquiry it was a huge success.

He said that already over 44 companies have established their base in India and the trade volume between Bavarian state and India this year has touched 1.3 billion Euros, an increase of over 35 per cent than the previous year.

Me John many Indian companies have set up their manufacturing facilities and make their presence felt strongly in the European countries. The Indian Companies which have set up their business ventures included IT giants TCS, Satyam and many more small and medium companies.

Compared to previous edition the participation from the Bavarian state during IMTEX-2007 was impressive and a lot of interesting products and solutions for the machinery sector were showcased at the event.

All the participating companies were supported financially and logistically by the Bavarian government through Bayern International, a daughter company of the Free state of Bavarua, he added.

Mr John said that Bavaria has already participated in many trade shows throughout India and also will participate in 2007 at other events including Bangalore IT.IN and Aerodrome India.
