Woman with 60 gelatin sticks arrested

Kohima, Jan 25 (UNI) Dimapur police recovered some 60 gelatin sticks, highly expolsive material, and about 70 mts of fuse wire and arrested a woman in this connection from Signal Angami village in Dimapur yesterday.

After receiving a tip-off, police raided a house belonging to one retired Army personnel and recovered the highly explosive sticks and fuse wire. But the owner of the house was absconding.

Police later arrested a woman, outside the house on suspicion.

Police were investigating to ascertain if she had any link with underground outfits.
