Union Bank posts 11.7 pc hike in Q3FY07 net profit

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Union Bank of India today posted a 11.68 per cent increase in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, at Rs 255.84 crore as compared to Rs 229.08 crore for the corresponding period of last fiscal.

The bank's total income rose 24.32 per cent to Rs 2054.44 crore for the quarter from Rs 1652.50 crore for the same quarter of fiscal 2006.
