Tara Devi behind great success of Zee : Sukhbir Badal

Hisar, Jan 25 (UNI) Tara Devi was behind the great success of Zee TV Network and Essel group and was the inspiration behind her husband noted social reformer Nand Kishore Goenka, said Sukhbir Badal, Rajya Sabha Member and SAD (Badal) leader while paying glowing tributes to the departed soul here today.

''She has left behind her a rich legacy through her simplicity, compassion and farsightedness. She will be long remembered for her help to the needy and the poor,'' he said.

Her husband N K Goenka, President, Agroha Nirman Samiti and son Subhash Chandra, who heads the Zee and Essel groups, will however, continue to draw strength from her good work, Mr Badal hoped.

Mr Badal was here to convey his condolences to the family of Tara Devi, who died recently in a Delhi hospital.
