Central grant for Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh for DRDAs

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) The Centre has sanctioned Rs 4.07 crore as grants-in-aid to 15 District Rural Development Agencies of Uttar Pradesh and Rs 38.51 lakh for two DRDAs of Arunachal Pradesh towards the second instalment of Central Share for the year 2006-07.

The DRDAs of Arunachal Pradesh are Upper Subansiri and Lower Dibang Valley with the former getting Rs 17.49 lakh and the latter getting Rs 21.02 lakh.

The funding pattern under the scheme is 75:25 between the Centre and the state. The utilisation of funds is to be in accordance with the DRDA administration guidelines.
