Cabinet approves transfer in police department

Jammu, Jan 24 (UNI) The state cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad approved following transfers and postings in the police department.

Mr K Rajendra Kumar awaiting adjustment has been posted as IGP, CID headquarters against available vacancy.

Mr B Srinivas on his repatriation from the central deputation has been posted as DIG Baramulla-Kupwara range.

Mr Adbul Subhan lone DIG Baramulla-Kupwara has been transferred and posted as DIG Jammu-Kathua against vacancy caused due to suspension of Mr Niaz Mehmood Mir.

Mr Ashkoor Ahmad Wani SP attached with IGP Kashmir has been posted as SP CID, CIK.

Mr Jagjit Kumar SP CID, CIK has been transferred and posted as SP Poonch.

Mr S D Singh SP has been transferred, he will remain on compulsory waiting in the police headquarters till further orders.
