BSNL launches various schemes on R-Day, customers to enjoy full talk

Dehradun, Jan 25 (UNI) On the eve of Republic Day, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today launched its various new schemes for the customers of Uttarakhand.

Chief General Manager Telecom Mahendra Kumar told reporters that BSNL would provide full talk time on Recharge Coupen (R/C) of Rs 500 with existing validity of 45 days, full talk time on R/C of Rs 1,000 with validity of 180 days instead of present 120 days and full talk time on R/C of Rs 2,000 with validity of 240 days instead of present 180 days.

He informed that talk time has been increased to Rs 50 from existing Rs 30 on new SIM of Rs 100 in prepaid mobile service.

Mr Kumar said BSNL would also provide waiver of installation charges of Rs 500 to its land line and WLL customers added that the registration charges of Rs 500 at the time of booking of connection would be payable, and payment of remaining Rs 500 security deposit could be done for local NTC in two bi-monthly installments.

However for STD and ISD connections the security would remain unchanged. ''The schemes will begin with effect from 26 January and end on 31 March 07,'' the CGMT said.
