Autos stay off Kolhapur roads to protest insurance charge hike

Kolhapur, Jan 25 (UNI) Autorickshaws went off the roads here today in response to a call given by the Kolhapur District Vehicle Owners Federation which is protesting against nsurance companies for hiking insurance charges.

All autorickshaw stands wore a deserted look. The Federation has claimed that the ''autorickshaw bandh'' was total.

The Federation has threatened to launch a ''chakka jam'' agitation if the hike in insurance charge is not revoked.
