Manipal varsity to set up off-shore campus in Antigua

Manipal, Jan 24: The Manipal University and the Government of Antigua and Barbados have recently entered into an agreement for setting up an off-shore campus of the university in Antigua.

According to a release issued by the varsity here a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed by Manipal University President Ramdas M Pai and Antigua and Barbados Prime Minister Winston Baldwin Spencer at a function here on January 19. As per the agreement, the Manipal University would offer at its off-shore campus, courses in health sciences, technology, management, communication and other fields. The MoU also provided for jointly promoting education in these fields and allied health sciences and medical tourism, the release added.
