Karnataka Governor Chaturvedi to address joint session tomorrow

Bangalore, Jan 24 (UNI) Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi will address a joint session of the state legislature here tomorrow.

Waiver of farm loans, ban on arrack sale, recent communal riots in the city, formation of greater Bangalore and the prevailing drought in various districts of the State are some of the issues which the opposition party leaders were going to tackle the government with. The legislature committee headed by A T Ramaswamy is also likely to embrass members cutting across the party lines.

According to legislature secretariat sources the session would be held for 15 days.
