Jindal Stainless clocks Q3 net of Rs 113.05cr

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) Jindal Stainless Ltd today posted a net profit of Rs 113.05 crore for the quarter ended December 2006 whereas the same was Rs 20.94 crore for the quarter ended December 2005.

The total income (net of excise) was reported at Rs 1,451.38 crore for the quarter ended December 2006 whereas the same stood at Rs 711.63 crore for the quarter ended December 2005.

The company stated that the results for the corresponding period are not comparable as its Orissa plant was not in operation during the corresponding period of the previous year.
