Jacob takes additional cahrge of Arunachal Governor

Itanagar, Jan 24 (UNI) Meghalaya Governor M M Jacob today took gubernatorial charge of Arunachal Pradesh as additional responsibility in absence incumbent Governor S K Singh.

Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Justice D Biswas administered the oath and secrecy of office to Mr Jacob at Raj Bhawan in a simple ceremony in presence of state Chief Minister Gegong Apang and his cabinet colleagues besides high ranking civil and police officers.

Mr Singh is now on vacation.
