Panaji, Jan 24 (UNI) Goa government will shortly submit a revised report with additional information to the Centre pleading that Dhangar(Gouli) Community be treated as Scheduled Tribe.

In reply to a starred question tabled by Chandrakant Kawloekar, Social Welfare Minister Subhash Shirodkar told the state legislative Assembly that the state had already submitted its initial report to the Centre but the Registrar General of India had sought a revised report with more details.

Pending Central notification, the state government had formulated a special scheme for development of the community which, he said, was suffering a lot due to its non-inclusion in the ST list.
