Governor, CM felicitate people on Himachal's 37 Statehood Day

Shimla, Jan 24 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have felicitated the people of the state on the eve of its 37th Statehood Day, tomorrow.

The Governor, in his message, hoped that the people of the state would scale new heights in all-round development and contribute their best towards the progress and prosperity of the nation.

In his message, the Chief Minister said Himachal had progressed in all the sectors and emerged as a role-model of development not only in hill states but also among other big states of the country.

''The credit for this spectacular progress goes to the visionary leadership of the Congress leaders at Centre and State and to the honest and hard working people of the state,'' he added.
