Full R-Day dress rehearsal in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 24 (UNI) A full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day was held at the Bakshi stadium here today.

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Basharat Ahmed Dhar took salute at the march past in which contingents of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, BSF, IRP, ITBP, Fire and Emergency Services, Home Guards, NCC cadets, school children besides women police took part.

He also inspected a guard of honour.

On the occasion, school children presented cultural programmes.

Reports of full dress rehearsals were received from district headquarters of Anantnag, Baramulla, Badgam, Pulwama and Kupwara.
