Cholamandalam DBS records growth of 114 per cent

Chennai, Jan 24 (UNI) Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd records a growth of over 114 per cent in revenue, over the corresponding period last year.

The revenue stood at Rs 109.25 crore during the quarter October-December 2006, as against Rs 50.89 crore during the same period in the previous financial year, an official release said here today.

The company posted a growth of 141 per cent in retail disbursements also. While the retail disbursements in the quarter October-December 2005 was Rs 310 crore, it was Rs 746 crore in the corresponding period this year.

The Corporate Finance float increased to Rs 700 crore in the quarter ended December 2006, from Rs 309 crore in the same period last year.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter was up by 18 per cent at Rs 10.78 crore, as compared to Rs 9.10 crore during the same period in the year 2005.
