50 children hospitalised due to food poisoning

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 24(UNI) Fifty school children had fallen ill after finishing the mid-day meal at Rayalacheruvu Upper Primary School in Ramachandrapuram mandal in Chittoor district today.

Police said the children were admitted at SVRR Hospital in Tirupati with complaints of vomiting and diarrhoea.

The hospital doctors, however, said the children fell ill due to food poisoning and their condition was normal.
