Bharti Airtel bags 'Avaya' awards

New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has won the 'Avaya GlobalConnect Customer Responsiveness Awards, 2006' for Best Customer Service in the telecom sector.

Bharti Airtel Joint President (Mobile Services) Sanjay Kapoor said, ''We are delighted to win this award for the second time consecutively. We have crossed significant milestones in the area of customer care.'' It is our constant endeavour to augment customer experience by enhancing performance and delivering greater efficiencies, aimed at making customer delight a way of life at Airtel, he added.

Customer service is supported by the use of world-class customer service technology solutions to provide a standardised, consistent and a high quality experience to all its customers, across all the 23 telecom circles in India, Mr Kapoor said.

The award is an unequivocal acknowledgement of the customer care focus and orientation of Airtel.

The 'Avaya GlobalConnect Customer Responsiveness Awards,' 2006 evaluate and reward India's topmost companies for their customer responsive policies and practices.
