Dry weather prevailed over several parts of the country

Pune, Jan 19 (UNI) Cold Wave conditions prevailed in some parts of north coastal Orissa,Jharkhand and of north Telangana.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim,interior Orissa, Punjab, Marathwada, south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Jharkhand and of north coastal Orissa and were below normal in south coastal Orissa, Bihar,Vidarbha,north Chattisgarh,interior Tamil Nadu and in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh,south coastal Kerala and in remaining Parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

They were appreciably above normal in Uttaranchal,Haryana,west Rajasthan and south coastal Andhra Prdesh.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occure at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir,Uttaranchal,Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram, Tripura and south Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over West Bengal and Sikkim Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, jab, Rajasthan, Gujrat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada,Andhra Pradeh,Karnataka,north Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir,coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marthwada, Telganagana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Kerala.
