Discretionary grants of CM, Ministers raised in Haryana

Chandigarh, Jan 19 (UNI) The Haryana government has raised the discretionary grant at the disposal of the Chief Minister from Rs five crore to Rs six crore per annum.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the state Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here today.

The Cabinet also enhanced the discretionary grants of the Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Speaker and Ministers of state.

In case of the Speaker and Cabinet Ministers, the discretionary grant has been raised from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 75 lakh each per annum.

Similarly, in case of Deputy Speaker and Ministers of State, this amount has been raised from Rs 50 lakh each from Rs 35 lakh each per annum.
