Another hoax call creates bomb scare at Magistrate's court in Surat

Surat, Jan 19 (UNI) The sinister trend of making hoax calls of bombs being planted at various local Courts continued unabated, as police today received another similar telephone call, claiming that a bomb has been planted at the Magistrate's Court at the Kamrej area here.

Police personnel, accompanied by the dog squad, rushed to the spot, evacuated it and conducted an intensive search. However, nothing was found, rendering the call a hoax, police said.

In the past week, similar hoax calls had created a scare in some other Magistrate's Courts, at Bardoli, Olpad and Vyara, here.

In all such cases however, the culprits were never traced, police admitted.
