TV channel banned for 'World's Sexiest Advertisements'

New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Foreign TV channel AXN has been banned for two months for showing some obscene programmes.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting today issued the order for blocking signals of the channel in the country taking note of its programme 'World's Sexiest advertisements' telecast sometime ago, a senior official told UNI.

The Ministry had been issuing warning to different foreign channels, in the past, for telecasting obscene programmes.
