Tata Motors launch ACE HT mini Truck at Guwahati

Guwahati, Jan 17 (UNI) Automobile giant Tata Motors has launched country's first indigenously developed mini truck ACE HT with superior gradeability of up to 22 per cent for mountainous roads.

Speaking on the occasion, sales and marketing head of the company Prem K Verma said, '' It has been our constant endeavour to provide customers with offerings that will enhance their business productivity. To that end, we are proud of the tremendous response the Tata Ace has garnered and customer after customer has affirmed our belief that it is an excellent value proposition. '' Mr Rohit Srivastava, Marketting head of the company, said the ACE HT had been designed keeping in mind the unique terrain in the North Eastern region. He, however, hoped this new mini truck would open up new avenues in last mile transportation in this trying terrain with added gradeability for better fuel mileage.

The Tata ACE HT is powered by a unique, small but efficient twin-cylinder, 16bhp IDI 700 cc diesel engine. This four wheeler could carry a variety of payloads and offer smooth maneuverability owing to its crisp turning radious of 4.3 mt, he said He also said the vehicle is a high performance, low maintance, safe and reliable with sporty and car like features ensuring comfort in ride and handling.

The vehicle was crashtested under defined conditions.

It is economical and maintenance-free, fuel efficient with higher loading capacity up to 750 kg.
