Rasoya Proteins to expand Vegetable Oil refinery at Yavatmal

Mumbai, Jan 17 (UNI) Rasoya Proteins proposes to expand the capacity of its Vegetable oil refinery at Yavatmal from 70 metric tonnes per day (tpd) to 200 tpd.

A proposal to this effect is being taken up for approval at the forthcoming Board meeting of the Company scheduled to be held on January 22, company sources said.

The Board is also scheduled to fix the date for starting the construction of the proposed 10 MW co-generation captive power plant at Wani in Yavatmal district.

Other issues to be taken up for consideration and approval at the meeting includes issuance and allotment of 30,00,000 equity shares of the company to persons other than promoters on preferential basis.

Alongside, the Board of Rasoya Proteins will give clearance to issue and allotment of 30,00,000 equity warrants convertible into equity shares on preferential basis as per SEBI guidelines.

It will also take note of transfers approved by Share Transfer Committee.
