Indian woollen products generate good business in Milan Fair

New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Indian wool and woollen exporters participated at the AFL Artigianos Fair in Milan, Italy, last month and generated a large number of business enquiries which are likely to materialise in firm orders.

The Wool and Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), an apex organisation under Ministry of Textiles, had arranged the exporters' participation.

The member exporters of the Council displayed selective range of wool and wool blended products like knitwear, embroidered shawls, mufflers, stoles and made-ups which were appreciated by the visitors, importers and buying agents.

As a follow-up, the Council will also participate in Pret-E-Porter Fair to be held in Paris and Magic Show in Las Vegas, USA, next month.
