Committee appointed to look into ''infighting''in Nagpur Congress
Mumbai, Jan 17 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress President Prabha Rau yesterday said a committee has been appointed to look into the ''infighting'' in the party following distribution of tickets for the Municipal Corporation elections.
Talking to mediapersons here, Ms Rau said barring Akola Municipal Corporation, where the Congress has left 24 seats for NCP, the party is contesting on its own in all the nine Municipal Corporations including Mumbai.
She said there are 136 seats in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
"Infighting" was reported among the followers of Union Minister for Non-Conventional Energy Vilas Muttemwar and Maharashtra Textile Minister Satish Chaturvedi.
