Uma's party to contest all seats in Uttarakhand, Punjab polls
Bhadohi, Jan 16 (UNI) Bhartiya Janshakti (BJS) president Uma Bharti today said her party would contest all the seats in coming Uttarakhand and Punjab assembly polls.
''We can enter into electoral alliance with any non-BJP party, but on our own terms,'' she announced.
Ms Bharti arrived here for the second leg of her Bharat Navnirman Janshakti Yatra.
Meanwhile, she seized the opportunity to lambast the BJP and its leaders by calling it a party without principles.
The former Madhya Pradesh chief minister claimed the Congress wanted to conduct the UP polls under the President's rule, since free and fair election is not possible under the present Samajwadi Party regime.
Ms Bharti alleged that the Tricolour insult case against her was filed at the behest of Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
''However, if the court orders, I can offer an apology...I respect the Tricolour and the judiciary,'' she observed.
