Mehbooba demands revival of central PSUs in J

Srinagar, Jan 16 (UNI) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti today demanded immediate revival of central Public Service Undertakings (PSUs) so that the alarming and ever-increasing unemployment problem in Jammu and Kashmir was addressed.

Addressing party workers at Pattan, she also demanded a due share for the youth of the state in the public sectors and central departments.

Ms Mufti suggested soft loans and stipend for the unemployed educated youth who want to pursue entrepreneurship initiatives.

Handing over of internal security arrangements to police would also create employment avenues for the local youth, she said.
