Girl among 3 students fell unconscious in Azad's public rally
Gigrial, Line of Control, Jan 16 (UNI) Three school students, including a girl, today fell unconscious while waiting for the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad at a Congress rally in this bordering village of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sagar Kumar, of class 6th and Shree Prakash class 7th, of Government Higher Secondary School Khour and Asha of Kot Mehra Public School fell unconscious in the public rally.
''They (students) regained conscious after water was sprinkled on their faces. They were immediately sent back to their homes,'' the eye-witnesses told reporters.
About 300 odd students were called up at 1000 hrs to stand on the both sides of the road to welcome the Chief Minister, who landed at 1605 hrs.
The students, however, told UNI that they were not provided any food or water.
Meanwhile, 24 girl students of Government Higher Secondary School Jourian, who had rehearsed over one week to present the Saraswati Vandana, kept standing in colourful attire but could not perform due to the long list of speakers.
