Escorts suffers loss of Rs 3.04 crore in Q1

Mumbai, Jan 16 (UNI) Escorts Ltd has posted net loss of Rs 3.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to net profit of Rs 2.92 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 325.88 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 517.82 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
