51 including 30 Indian cross LoC, 19 reach this side
Jammu, Jan 16 (UNI) As many as 30 Indians from Jammu and Kashmir left for Pakistani-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to meet their parted relatives after more than half a century via Chakkan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district, official souerces said here today.
Fifty-one civilians crossed over to PoK yesterday from Poonch including 30 visiting PoK for the first time from this part of the State to meet their relatives and 21 PoK citizens who returned to their houses after their stay here.
Forty-six civilians came to this side from PoK including 19 freshers and 27 citizens of this side who returned from PoK after meeting their relatives in that part of the State, sources added.
One Indian citizen Haji Abdul Razak Zoo (65) son of Fateh Zoo, a resident of Poonch had died due to cardiac arrest in Katli. Zoo had gone to Kotli to meet his divided family members along with his son Mohd Ismayil.
His body was also brought to this side by PoK authorities. PoK's Minister for Food and Supplies Abdul Wahid accompanied the dead body upto Chakkan-Da-Bagh. The last rite to be paid at his village.
