'Jandhyala Memorial Award' to Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy

Vijayawada, Jan 15 (UNI) The 'Jandhyala Memorial Award' has been awarded to popular film lyricist Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy.

The Abhiruchi Cultural Organisation and the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) presented the seventh Jandhyala Award to Veturi as part of the Corporation's Silver Jubilee Celebration here yesterday.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Veturi expressed his happiness for presenting him with 'Jandhyala Memorial Award'.

The Abhiruchi also presented a cash award of Rs 5,000 to veteran stage artiste Seethalatha.
