SINGAPORE, Jan 15 (Reuters) Gold rose to its highest level in nearly two weeks on Monday, extending last week's gains driven by a falling dollar and rebounding oil prices.
-- Spot gold hit a high of $627.40, its best since Jan. 4, and was at $625.50/626.50 an ounce by 0034 GMT, little changed from $625.60/626.60 late in New York on Friday.
-- Benchmark gold futures on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, currently December 2007, added 41 yen per gram to 2,440 yen, tracking gains in New York's COMEX market.
-- The euro steadied at $1.2921, having fallen to a session low of $1.2865 on electronic trading platform EBS on Friday.
-- Silver rose to $12.93 an ounce, its highest since Jan. 3, and against $12.78/12.85 late in New York.
-- Platinum rose to $1,144/1,149 an ounce from $1,142/1,148.
-- Palladium eased to $330/335 an ounce from $331/336.
