Yahoo! India Answers launches ATP Series in India
New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) Yahoo! India, one of the leading internet brands in the country launched a forum called 'Ask the planet' (ATP), on Yahoo! India Answers seeking provide a platform to questions the citizens face today.
The first question posted yesterday by President A P J Abdul Kalam is, ''What should we do to free our planet from terrorism?'' Answers to Dr Kalam's question have come from thought leaders such as Dr Kiran Bedi, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Leander Paes and Akum Longchari.
''In line with the objective of Yahoo! Answers in creating a rich knowledge repository, the ATP Series will provide an innovative platform for the millions Indians based on their real life expeinces, to answer some of the biggest questions that touch our lives today,'' said Yahoo! India MD George Zacharias.
The 'Ask the planet' series launched yesterday will continue for a period of six weeks, allowing users to answer a string of questions posed by Indian lumanaries and achievers.
The questions will be on varied subjects including education, health, law and enforcement, games and recreation, society and culture to name a few.
Yahoo! Answers is an online community where anyone can ask and answer questions on any topic.
It delivers on the Yahoo! Search vision to find, use, share and expand all human knowledge.
