No kisses for 'smooch king' Emran in Mahesh Bhatt's Awarapan

Varanasi, Jan 14 (UNI) Mahesh Bhatt's yet another film with Emran Hashmi, the actor who is earned a tag of ''serial kisser'', will have no smooch scenes this time.

The well-known Bollywood director, while launching his 'Awarapan' here said, '' that film will have no ''kissing scenes.'' Interacting with the mediapersons at the inaugural function of Spandan-2007, the five-day youth festival of the Banaras Hindu University, the director said he had no plans to make a film on the life jailed underworld don Babloo Srivastava.

''I have read Babloo's autobiography 'Adhoora Khwab', but have not found contents worthy of being converted into a full-length movie,'' Mr Bhatt said.

Terming the Nithari serial killings and the Sacchhar Committee findings a 'big slap' on the nation's face, Mr Bhatt hoped the culprits will be dealt deservedly by the law.

The film-maker, however, declined making a film on the Nithari episode.

''It is a horrific episode which has caused never ending pain to the poor families who lost their little ones. No film can ever be made on Nithari,'' he said.

Mr Bhatt also believed that Indian cinema had lost the ethnic flavour in the era of globalisation.

''Indian cinema has lost Indianess,'' he added.
