Metro rail to link Faridabad-Ballabhgarh; Hooda
Faridabad, Jan 14 (UNI) The Haryana government will soon draw- up an ambitious plan to link the twin industrial towns of Faridabad and Ballabhgarh by Metro Rail.
This was dislosed by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today while addressing a Jagrati rally at Ballabhgarh.
Refering to Faridabad as the country's premier industrial township, the Chief Minister said the revival of the town is very much on the cards. Effective steps are being taken in this direction, he added.
He disclosed that the government was setting up an Industrial Model Township at Ballabhgarh and work on the Badarpur flyover would start very soon. He pointed out that Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Diksht had agreed to the proposal.
Mr Hooda said work on 135 km long Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway was on and it would be completed in a record time of 22 months. This global corridor would not only offer major investment opportunities in the region but economic hubs would be developed around this expressway.
The development of Faridabad would get a major boost with this expressway, he added.
