"Festival of Joy" in city from Jan 18

Chennai, Jan 14 (UNI) Church of God (Full Gospel) in India, which has been organising public meetings all over the country, involving Christian missionaries, is organising ''Festival of Joy'', a public meeting to bless of the people of the city.

Giving details of the event, Pastor P Wellesly Solomon told newspersons here that the four-day meeting would be held between January 18 to 22 at St George's Higher Secondary School ground here and special prayers would be offered for the prosperity of the nation and to bless all leaders and people of the country.

While Dr D G S Dinakaran, Dr Paul Dinakaran, Founders of Jesus Calls, would give message and offer prayers on January 21 and 22, Rev M K Sam Sundaram, Senior Pastor of ACA Church, Rev Tim O Field, Senior Pastor, Church of God and Rev Herold Mcleod, Field Director, Church of God would address the meeting on January 18 and 19.

Pastor Solomon said during the four-day convention, special meetings would be held for ladies and children of various churches in the morning and afternoon sessions. The evening meeting would be open to the general public, he said adding about two lakh people are expected to take part in the meeting and benefit.

''All those who seek encouragement, down hearted, depressed and who wished to receive the blessings of Jesus Christ can come and attend the meeting,'' he said.

Church of God (Full Gospel) in India had been functioning in India for the past 71 years, organising such meetings for peace and prosperity of the nation at various places in th country, he added.
