CM urges youths to take up career in bio-technology

Panaji, Jan 14 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane told youngsters that mere college education was not sufficient and advised them to take up professional courses like bio-technology to succeed in life.

Mr Rane was speaking after inaugurating the two-day '12th Goa Yuva Mahotsav-2007', organised by Konkani Bhasha Mandal at Margao in South Goa yesterday.

He said Goan youth had shown they were ready to face challenges to take the nation forward in a big way.

''Everybody has a right to express his views in a democratic set up. However, there were those who were exploiting this,'' he cautioned. Elected representatives should take people's views into consideration, he added.
