2 pilgrims killed, 9 injured in Jhansi road accident

Jhansi, Jan 14 (UNI) At least two pilgrims were killed and nine others critically injured, after their van rammed into a road roller here today.

Police said the speeding vehicle on way to Ardh Kumbhnagar -- Allahabad from Jhansi collided with a road roller killing two people on the spot under Sakrar police station area.

The injured, all natives of Madhya Pradesh, were rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

The deceased were yet to be identified, police added.
