Truck-jeep collision kills six in Kota

Jaipur, Jan 13 (UNI) Six people were killed and four others injured when a truck collided with a jeep in Kota this morning, police said.

According to police, the accident occurred at Vigyan Nagar Chauraha on the Jaipur-Jabalpur national highway.

The family, hailing from Haniheda village under Kawai police station, was returning home after an engagement ceremony.

The truck rammed into the jeep, killing six people. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Kota. The truck driver is absconding, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Laxminarayan, 60, Mohanlal 42, Amar Lal 55, Satyanarayan 45, Ram Charan 40, Prem Kishan 32.
