RPF helps reunite runaway Betul boys with parents
Nagpur, Jan 13 (UNI) Three school-going children, who had run away from their homes at Betul in Madhya Pradesh, were today reunited with their families following the help by Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel here.
The three 14-year-old boys -- Parimal Roy, Apoorva Vikas Malik and Prashant, alias, Pranay Shrikrishna Thakur -- are residents of Shobhapur in Betul district, and students of the eighth standard, police said.
The three had run away from home yesterday after Parimal's father scolded him over some issue.
They boarded the 7021 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Hyderabad Dakshin Express at Betul, and alighted at Nagpur station last evening. An RPF constable noticed them huddled on a platform late yesterday night as they waited for a train to Howrah, the police said.
On being quizzed, the boys blurted out the truth. The police informed their parents and the children were handed over to their parents when they arrived here this evening, the police said.
