Pongal fest; Russian artistes to present folk dance on Jan 16

Puducherry, Jan 13 (UNI) Sponsored by the tourism department of the territorial administration, the All India Peace and Solidarity organisation will organise a special function to celebrate Pongal here on January 16.

Organisation President K Lakshminarayanan, MLA, in a release today said Russian artistes would present a folk dance on the occasion.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy, in the presence of Tourism Minister Malladi Krishna Rao and legislators would inaugurate the function, he added.
