RLD MLAs to support SP in case of confidence vote: SP

Lucknow, Jan 12 (UNI) The ruling Samajwadi Party today claimed that it was in touch with some Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) MLAs and expressed confidence that they would vote in favour of the Mulayam Singh Yadav government in case of a floor test in the coming assembly session.

State agriculture minister Dr Ashok Bajpai told reporters here that some RLD MLAs were in touch with the SP and would vote in favour of the ruling dispensation on the floor of the House.

Three RLD ministers have resigned from the government on the issue of cane prices.

The minister claimed the passage of motion of thanks on the Governor's address would also indicate that the ruling coalition enjoyed the confidence of the house.
