Rectified spirit seized

Puducherry,Jan 12(UNI) The excise police has seized rectified spirit worth Rs.2.5 lakhs at Kambandur near Bahour here last night.

According to excise sources, they conducted a raid in the village on a tip off and came across 46 cans of rectified spirit, hidden in a trench.

Police registered cases against two persons belonging to the area, in this connection, and are on the look out for them.
