Pranab will represent people of J

Jammu, Jan 12 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today expressed his confidence in External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and said he would live up to the ''aspirations of the people'' of the state during his ensuing Pakistan visit.

Replying to the discussion on 'The Motion of Thanks' in the Legislative Assembly, Mr Azad said, ''Mr Pranab Mukherjee will represent the aspirations of all the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh while talking to his counterpart and others in Pakistan.'' He also wished for the success of the talks between New Delhi and Islamabad.

Praising the three-pronged strategy, he said dialogue between India and Pakistan, interaction between the Centre and separatists and the constitution of five working groups in sequel to the decisions adopted in Srinagar roundtable conference, were main components of the peace strategy.
