Police detain three Kashmiri youth

Raichur, Karnataka, Jan 13 (UNI) The District police today detained three Kashmiri youth in Mudgal town in this district, after people complained that they were moving in a suspicious manner.

Police said the trio, identified as Ghulam Nabi, Mohammed Shakil and Muraf Hussain, were seeking money from people. On questioning they said they had come to take part in a Urs in Gulbarga and they were only seeking alms.

Police are studying the antecedents of the three Kashmiris.

They were produced before the taluk magistrate, police added.

The incident comes in the wake of the arrest of a Pakistan trained terrorist, along with arms, who had set up a shop and lived in Hospet recently.
